I can respect this but I still don't like listening to them. To me they sound like what kids do when they are given a instrument and left to do their own thing and they have a spark of creativity. I've come across this a few times and the "song structure" is usually similar to this. Some times it is rather cool. But really this is not my cup of tea... personally I would rather listen to straight up noise but I can say that about a LOT of commercial stuff.. on the other hand yes I would rather listen to The Shaggs then the Spice Girls.
