Unless it's "the jank", then it's rad.

wasn't sure whether to put this in here or in the spite, hate, rage, etc thread, but, now that my 'electric guitar rig' GAS is temporarily sated, my acoustic GAS is asserting itself :erm:

And all the stuff I'm GASing for is way too expensive!

acoustic guitar GAS is SO much worse than electric guitar GAS...you can't piece off acoustic GAS with a cheap slab guitar with a aftermarket PU in it. if you REALLY NEED, say, a jumbo rosewood 12-string that isn't going to fall apart/become unplayable in three years...

Finally! Someone that understands!

It's still a shame that the guitar(s) I really want is(are) way out of my price-range, though :mope:

tell me about it. the local high-end acoustic emporium has five, count 'em FIVE Lowdens hanging on their wall, any of which i'd love to own but each of which costs as much as a late-model Ford Focus. i'd even settle for the 17" Larrivee jumbo, but at $1299 i can't swing that either unless i sold more guitars than i want to part with. unemployment sucks.
