Left knob is volume, center is tone, right is gain. I can't read the number on the transistor. The switch adds gain. In one mode, there's almost no dirt; just boost. In the other mode, there's a mild, open sounding drive.

if you could read that transistor, the other two resistors the electrolytic cap, and the box cap, that would be great. I hope we dont get in trouble for this. it might not be an original circuit and its not a production pedal as far as I know so I guess it should be ok. if they want, they can delete this thread.

I'm pretty sure the transistor says 2N5089-K43 The three caps you have labeled 22n read 223J100 The one laying down says 104J100 The resistor that's just north of the transistor is Gold Green Black Brown The resistor southwest of the transistor is Gold Orange and Black
