Sherman filterbank
Has anyone used/own one of these http://www.sherman.be/. Apparently Autolux use one to make the ace noises heard in songs like Sugarless. I want one! Or ideally a cheaper equivalent.

Well, it makes me want one even more, doesn't help my wallet though! 
I really just want something to blurt out crazy sounds in between riffs. When I heard Autolux I had to find out what they were using, shame they are so damn expensive as I imagine I would only use a small percentage of it's capabilites. Anyone have any suggestions on similar noise boxes (not necessarily filters) to vomit out short globs of wierdness without having to have any talent at using them?
