Someone did a write-up comparing a handwired SHOD to the PCB version - seemed the only differences could be attributed to parts' tolerance.

I don't typically get along with Bjorn-related designs for whatever reason; the dirt is either too dark (HONEY BEE, goddamnit, so good otherwise) or too generic (Fire Red Fuzz, SHOD), the repeats in the delays (DBD CB, First Echo on the Moon) have this weird high-pass filter thing going on that I hate, etc. etc. Having said that, the Little Green Wonder CB really impressed me in its versatility of character (though it wasn't the kind of thing I could use consistently [not enough treble on tap]), and the Forest Green Compressor CB has been my favorite small-footprint comp since it came out. For all the TGP-related-corksniffer horseshit, they make some cool stuff at some relatively affordable prices in the CB line.

Some sort of Electra Distortion variant. Probably an And Aardvarks! since I have connections. : p

Though... a Singing Tree would fit the bill pretty nicely...

Don't know what it is but I love electra type pedals. Probably why I'm working on one :p They sound so good, especially with germanium diodes.

i would say a black russian big muff but i've managed to fuck up three by breaking jacks, pots, and switches. so i'm gonna go with the 5-knob earthbound audio supercollider. built like a tank and it is the most eq-able muff variant i've tried.

Frantone Brooklyn Overdrive.

The sound on this thing is just amazing. Makes smaller amps sound huge and has an almost fuzzy quality to the sound. Doesn't get super high-gain, but for most of my needs, it would suffice.
