A terrible, terrible, local band.

They make me want to kill myself. I don't care if I'm being an asshole. They are that bad. And don't say "They're just kids." They go to my school and are just as old as me. What pisses me off the most it that their parents buy them everything. The singer just got a fucking $1300 guitar from his dad and the drummers parents PAY people to let them play shows. They've played at my school a few times, even at a fucking pep assembly.

I'm sorry I just had to rant to somebody.

Wow that is... horrible... at that age 3 of us played a joke gig with £40 instruments, a week of 'rehersal' (drinking and occasionaly playing a bit) and a guy that couldn't sing for shit and it was better than that (it was actually pretty bad ass).

I'm not sure who's worse... the off time drummer, the terrible vocalsit or that bass... the guitarist is... well he is okay for a kid if he hasn't been playing that long, give him a few years and he could play in a punk/hardcore band or something... no $1300 guitar for him though.

Sounds like you need to have them over to play a house party ... maybe forget to invite anyone else

I love it when shitty high school bands note that a song is "An Original".

They'll fade away soon enough. The kids will lose interest, start drinking more, and their band will never actually improve. They'll always have money, and insincere popularity. I currently deal with a band just along the same lines, and I've been dealing with these types of bands for six straight years. I thought leaving high school would help things...nope.

EDIT: Seriously though, WTF is this shit?

Kids don't have access to cool drugs anymore. That would nip this shit right in the bud.

So, since my last post, I've now become a fan of Boarder Line on FB, watched all their videos, and shared it with all of my friends. We're now gonna go blow up their wall with nonsense. This is what happens when I have not enough to do.

Also, GOD they suck.

whatever...
they're just kids.
maybe they'll figure it out, maybe they'll quit.
Venues always charge promoters to use the stage, pay to play is pretty standard.
You can blame the parents for making a bad investment, but can you really blame the them for trying to encourage their own kids?
insert joke about typical suburban soccer mom.

keep us posted on the facebook attack. take screenshots.
now posting as Forrrest.

Sounds like a shitty version of the promise ring. They could do with a lot more practice before putting themselves out there.

To be fair to them though I've seen grown men in bands way worse.

The guitarist that looks 12 holds the whole thing together, he kinda rocks. The vocalist-guitarist sings like he hates being the vocalist. And the bassist just looks like he wants to Green Day/ Blink 182 the hell out, but the song is too slow... I have heard worse.
