Your favorite M9/M13 sounds.

Post by madmax1012 »

After playing around with my M9 some more, I'm having a fit in trying to get some crazy sounds from stacking effects. I found a few that i like alot, such as particle verb/auto volume. Anyways, what's your favorite effects on the unit, and what are some cool effect stacks that you like to play around with?

I just got my M13 today and while playing with scenes, I tried looking up recommendations on the 'net.

Dear God, they're all fucking U2 toanz.

I need to get a MIDI>USB interface so I can get the 2.01 update, but for now, my favorite thing is running the Lo-Fi or the Sweep delay into the Digital w/Modulation. Having never had a Seek Wah, I've been loving the hell out of that well.

I've stuck my OCD > Very Special Twosome > Geiger Counter > Whetstone into the effects loop for now...

Any good recommendations for swirly/whooshy models?

Comet Trails -> Reverb (your pick) -> Reverse Delay

Pitch Shifter -> Pattern Trem. I have it set up so not only does the expression pedal act as a whammy, but it also changes the number of trem chops in each stage of the pattern.

The echo platter model with feedback turned all the way down and drive and mix turned all the way up I almost always have it on. Tube echo is pretty cool like this as well.
