Let's hear about treble boosters!

Post by phantasmagorovich »

Hot Damn:

Red Rooster, Phat Phuk, Ghost Treble Boost - I think I want one. I have no idea which one is good for what, which are the differences and if they are useful for me at all. I think it might be nice to have one of them push my fuzzes with top-end frequencies or my amp into gnarly territories. I use a Roost (check my signature), it's pretty dark sounding itself and loves dark sounding fuzzies. Will it play well with a Treble Boost?

What can you tell me?

The B&G is a monster! Got mine the other day. Loads of gain, loads of mids, real crunchy.

I have 3x Red Roosters
JMI Rangemaster (Iknow, I know)
Creepy Fingers Brothel Boost (Custom Sugar Boost)
Ghost JHS treble booster
Dice Works JH-S1 Si 2n2222
Dice Works JH-S1 Ge OC44
Champ Treboost+
Vintage Technologies Scream Dracula Scream!
And I just built a Rangemaster from one of Pigeon's kits
AC30 loves them all (but didn't like the Blind Mary so much for some reason).

Hornby-Skewes for my old Traynors, Rangemasters for the AC30
