Saw this perusing TB, and thought "WOAH, this is actually cool!" The price is a bit steep, but for an incredibly unique bass, it's about appropriate. Thoughts?
Well shit, I thought me and CaptainWampum (or CommandantWampum as I like to call him) had succesfully hidden our forbidden dalliance. But I guess the cat's out of the bag now. My dad's going to be so disappointed, but he had to find out eventually.
They look so nice! Not a fan of actives though, that's kind of a deal breaker. If I was going to get something cool like this I'd probably just put it together myself and get the wiring and stuff more to my taste.
Except for the oversized pole pieces, I like the look a lot. The clean, all-on-the-guard look is nice. Would a couple of Darkstars in middle and mud positions ruin that look? Maybe a couple of Fender mudbuckers, looking somewhere in that Sonic Youth/PawnShop range?
