I'm considering doing a story on a local white power group for my radio broadcast class (it's the only story idea i have that's interesting) and am kinda sketched out about setting up an interview with a dude that went to jail for stabbing someone in 2002... They might be nice ... and racist as shit/ scary. But it would be interesting and terribly frightening. Don't want to mention the group because of google but it's been involved in some sketchy type shit. I mean i guess i can pussy out and try and do a phone or email interview but it wouldn't be the same. Advice ? I think i'm going to set up a new email / don't really want to use my cell phone to contact them but don't see a way around it as throw away prepays don't exist here.

Virgin Mobile. more expensive than a prepay, but you could set it up and then abandon it. or Skype. or you could just interview some lame anarchist dude in a bandana from down the coffeeshop

you do hit them even if you don't realize it, they are (on some guitars) where everything is mounted, and some guitars just look plain weird without them.

I don't know. I don't see how I could hit it without realizing it. And I hold my pick like this:

So the length of exposed pick is less than the distance from the strings to the pickguard. And I only move my pick maybe a few millimeters past a string when I pick it.

I get the look thing though. Most guitars would probably look weird without it.
