The Gnomeratron VTF in "magic" mode can sound kind of like I imagine an amp at edge of blowing up might sound like... really amazing sag & bloom to the notes, like the speakers are almost going to give out and then realize that can give that one last hurrah...

Agreed, I've stumbeled on several VTF settings that sound like your amp/cab are being molested, in a good way of course.

none really.. closest was a mastotron... im thinking about getting a ECT and running some sort of boost infront like a box of rock or something. As long as the Eau Claire can get some classic green muff tones... Im thinking the octave fuzz will be too much. Sorry in the other post i meant to post a link from katanasounds effects.

i'm thinking Velcroar with the ROAR set to about 9:00-10:00. bass pickup with the tone control rolled off. there's a particular sweet spot where it sounds like someone's burning a copy of Live Rust inside your amplifier.
