Holy Shit! A killer birthday surprise.

Post by Seedy »

My dad saw a Kaossilator Pro on thinkgeek.com and was so blown away he got it for me for my birthday. I was not expecting this. Not bad considering he wouldn't let my band play in our garage when I was teenager, on account of the devil music we was makin'. Thanks Dad!

Digi-bolical, I love it! I've had the original Kaossilator for a few years and the weakest point was the drums. The drums on the pro are AWESOME! I used it last night with my guitarist (it's just the two of us) and have already started moving him from Alter Bridge to Big Black. That's a pretty far leap, as Alter Bridge is not actually a bridge at all, but Creed in disguise.

It's apparently doing its job, then :thumb:  once again, happy birthday, congratulations for the Keossilator. You know, You're right about the drum sound of the old Kaossilator sounding HORRIBLE, but somehow they work in this demo    dig it!

Thanks all for the birthday greetings (actually June 1). This arrived in the mail just minutes after I bought Thomas' Octave Drone in B/S/T, so it was a great gear day for me. I think good presents are things you would like, but wouldn't buy for yourself. I want to buy everything on ILF for myself.

Besides, I can't direct my dad here because then he'll see that I said nice things about him. It would compromise the dynamic.
