Ok my first pedal build...
I've decided that im going to attempt to build my first pedal and i could use some help. Since i use a vox i figured why not a treble booster. I've never played a treble booster, but from clips i think creepy fingers sugar boost is the closest to what im going for since its fuzzier. Maybe a cross between that and an analogman beano boost. Can anyone suggest a kit and what i would need to make it close either of those pedals? I really know nothing about this stuff.

I did some research on the internets and I found out that the sugar boost is actually the Hornsby-Skewes Zonk Machine with the Hornsby treble booster in front. here is the schematic and pcb transfer file. not exactly a kit though. you would have to read a tutorial on making pcb's or find sommeone to do it for you.

the beano is a dallas rangemaster. schematics and kits for that are everywhere. I got a vintage style kit from pep5i of pigeonfx. madbeanpedals.com has a rangemaster pcb. if you still want the zonk machine and you dont want to make a pcb, just do it on perfboard.
