Soundblox Multiwave Distortion Pedal Demo

I just finished making a new demo for the Soundblox Multiwave Distortion from Source Audio. Be warned, I work for the company so it's in my best interest to accentuate the positive. Still, it's an accurate representation of the sounds you can pull from the box. Enjoy.

You guys do some of the best company demos on the market. The demo for the Bass MWDP pedal that you originally did caused me to order one straight off.

For those of you who watch, especially make sure you watch the 45 seconds or so where he adds in the Guitar Envelop Filter.

Really good demo too. I'm curious about multiband distortion stuff, I dunno how much use I'd get out of it but this demo makes it sound great!

The Multiwave Distortion was the biggest disappointment in my personal pedal history.
I really wanted to like it. I enjoy out-of-the-box thinking and even waited almost a year for the appearance of the Pro version.
When I finally got it I couldn't find a single sound that convinced me to keep the MD.
Everything sounded very digital and synth like - in a toy sort of way.

I neither want to dis your demo or your company but I strongly suggest that people check out the pedal before buying.

I don't feel at all "dissed". The Multiwave is a very non-traditional sounding pedal, so we knew going in that it wouldn't turn everybody into a believer. We view the Multiwave's synth-like sounds as a big part of its unique appeal. Some people say that the box should be thought of as an "effects" pedal as much as a "distortion" pedal.

Sounds pretty cool. I don't know that I would need or use one personally but I like it. The Single band fold back especially.
