nope. i was thinking about one. i like the shapes but then somebody told me how their fret marker was crooked, and they realized that Wishnewsky had used NAILS FOR SIDE DOT FRET MARKERS.

i mean, i kinda appreciate the ghetto'ness, but DAMN.

so i saved up for a Dingwall instead. MUCH better bass.

if he could do a 6'er for about $400 then it'd be worth it to do the finish work maybe.

Avoid any instruments that don't have truss rods (unless they are nylon stringed guitars).

I actually kinda like the idea of nail heads for side marker dots. You can use anything really. Bits of aluminum rods,...that sort.

I have to say,...I really don't dig on the idea of led side markers though. Mainly because in Mecha Shiva,...on a dark stage,...I don't really need to know where I'm at on the fingerboard anyway.
