Now I know why I'm not married. Never had a girlfriend that ever bought me microbrews, guitar pedals, or an amp. And they wonder why I don't buy them jewelry! :lol:

Been rocking the Leinie's 1888 Bock + Fireside Nut Brown. They had them on season-end sale for $14 a case. I stocked up and got two cases of the bock and one of the nut brown. They've got Sam Adams Noble Pils on sale for $6.99 a 12 right now... A bit on the hoppy side for me tho. That one liquor store has decent-good beer on sale so cheap I have a hard time buying a sixer of New Glarus Cabin Fever Honey Bock / Fat Squirrel Nut Brown! :love:

Yeah, we've got places that spoil us with beer choices. Even the Pick N Saves carry microbrews (New Glarus, Lakefront Brewery, Capitol Brewery, etc) and Belgian ales.. organic/hippie grocery stores like Outpost Coop and Sendiks carry even better stuff.

Last of my aging beers going down tonight in anticipation of the job i may have gotten friday. Mikkeller christmas ale 2010 magnum. You wont find these just anywhere.

Between Fri and Sunday I had: Leinies 1888 bock, Fireside nut brown, Newcastle nut brown, Hub City Oatmeal Stout + Nut Browns (awesome beer w/ yeast on the bottom of the bottles. Avoid their 'loco lager' tho.), Minhaus 1845 Pils, New Glarus Totally Naked Pils + Fat Squirrel nut brown + Cabin Fever Honey Bocks, Fat Tire ambers... And misc PBR, Minhaus Light, Mt. Creek...

Tried to kill the hangover by having just a couple yesterday, and all it did was put it off half a day. OMG. I feel like I slept with a giant sponge in my mouth. Sooooo dehydrated... Soooo tired.

Good fest tho!

Pretty sure nobody has tried end of history as they only made 12 bottles of it. I had some nuclear penguin though. That was...interesting.
