What's in your vinyl collection?

Post by jfrey »

Thought it would be cool to see what everyone has, and maybe it would hook up some people looking to trade since in a lot of places it can be hard to find records you're looking for.

My stuff:

Bad Brains - I Against I
Balmorhea - All is Wild, All is Silent | Remixes
Balmorhea - Constellations
Cynic - Re-traced
Earth - Earth 2
Giant Squid - The Ichthyologist
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - F#A# Infinity
Indricothere - Indricothere
Mogwai - Mr. Beast
Russian Circles - Geneva
This Will Destroy You - Communal Blood
This Will Destroy You - Moving on the Edges of Things
This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain
Torche - In Return
Torche / Boris - Chapter Ahead Being Fake
Yes - The Yes Album

I have a bunch of old shit I inherited from my dad and someone I didn't know who died plus:

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Incus Taps by Derek Bailey
330,003 Crossdressers from Beyond the Rig Veda by Sun City Girls
Dante's Disneyland Inferno by Sun City Girls

That's it. :idk:

Plus my newly aquired Ronald Raygun LP. I think I'm only going to start collecting vinyl that isn't available in any other physical format. Now I'm debating on selling some of the repeats I have.

Dude, I fucking WISH it was the boxset. It's just the standard 4xLP version.
& nice on the Social Network soundtrack; great stuff. I'm excited to see how those two do the score for Fincher's next film. Trent said he was going to focus more on acoustic instruments even though he's not that good with them haha.

Erm, I have 3000+ records. Coolest stuff; that the board might be interested in?:

Lots of fuzzy 60's punk comps + records
Boris / Tomsk 7 split 7"; all the test pressings, and red, grey, and black vinyl. Cuz I put out the 1st boris release in the states.
bunch of other early Boris stuff
Swans + Sonic Youth LPs on Neutral Recs
all the early Godflesh stuff
1st Guitar Wolf on 1st press LP
Sub Pop + AmRep + Touch & Go recs galore
Tons of Melvins early stuff
Mudhoney superfuzz bigmuff 1st press
Entombed vinyl; 12" eps, and early LP's
F/i LP's
Pussy Galore LP's + awesome JAP bootleg LP
Tons of Doom, tho more on the punk-sludgecore side?
MBV + Lush + Spacemen 3 + Loop LP's

So much other stuff I wouldn't know where to begin. Anyone wants to buy or trade for a Boris split 7" tho, drop me a PM. I'd even trade for a pedal or partial on a pedal. :poke:

I got a CoS 7" from Ross a couple weeks ago when he bought my Kramer DMZ, so he still has some! You should get one before they tour tho! :thumb:
