New Organ Day!

Post by nieh »

Go a 70's Hammond M-102 at a garage sale today for only $25. Its in good shape but needs some work done to be in working order. I'm most excited about the reverb tank in the back. :p

Here it issss.

In addition to whatever electronic and mechanical work, learn about oiling the thing -- very important on preventive maintenance.

in fact, from the looks of it i'd wager it's got the ORIGINAL tubes still in it.

Apparently, it's also the organ Rick Wright of Pink Floyd used.

Great find! :joy: I wish I found cool old stuff for ridiculous prices. Maybe if I left the house...

I too keep reading "organ" and imagining this is a sex change thread and giggle just a little. Nothing wrong wrong with trading in your gear for something new...teehee

I keep seeing things like this on craigslist. They're far too tempting.

I can resist the CL organs these days because one would need to go up or down stairs. Now if I see a mobile Vox or Farfissa in my area, I'm gonna get in trouble.
