my back is still too screwed up to spend the time to look for the graphic, but i would totally rock a korina Explorer even though it'd look about as goofy on me as an AK-47 on Don Knotts.

I've played a handful of them, one [a old 8 string] was rather good, the rest were total meh.

You are so absolutely right there. The ones I've tried do just about ANYTHING.

But since they are so great, the moment the GAS ensues and THE PRICE TAG becomes horrible reality. A band mate (we really haven't jammed in along time) grooves Alembic Europa bass and just to get to play a bass sound check for him is wonderful.

love the construction, have never been so crazy about their active PUs. nowadays i'm trying to get away from the Jerry Garcia obsession of my youth so an Alembic might not be my first choice, but i've always loved the ergonomics of that second guitar which is based on the first guitar Doug Irwin built for Garcia...it's got the PERFECT combination of Strat, Les Paul, and SG characteristics.

I'd love an old Shergold too -- like a Masquerader/Modulator or a Marathon Baritone would be cool.

I dunno, I play like poppy punk and ambient music, but I've wanted one of those since I first lay eyes on it. I'd never use it, but I still want one.

OR THIS

I knew it sounded awesome, but then I played it, and oh no. It's beautiful.

If you really knew me, then you'd not be surprised if I had this...sadly people would be.
