The Chorus of the Cosmos... first demo page 34!
So lately I've had some time to work on our next big project... the Ultimate Cosmichorus!
I've got it pretty far too, I'm almost ready for a first pcb prototype. I tried really really hard to get this into the 125B box but it's just impossible using the parts and components I want to use so it's going into the 1590BB, same size as the CC has always been. This slightly bigger box has the advantage of more room for artwork so you can count on a zombie finish at least!
The circuit is basically two separate Cosmichorus paths with the delay chips driven from one clock. It works great at 18V, has much better headroom, expression control for rate and mix (works in stereo with regular TRS exp pedal), the same 'hold' feature as the Tremolessence, a switch to invert the left wet signal (has a big impact on the nature of the chorus, in mono and stereo), soft touch relay switching, huge range of rate, huge range of chorus sounds with 3 clock settings. *Holly voice* Basically, it's fantastic.
I really want this ready for this fall and it's coming along very nicely!

BTW, I'd love to seen a totally 80's themed Cosmichorus. How is that for existential, and self-aware?

This is a great idea, I don't think we've ever thought of doing one in a really 80s style and we'll have to do that for sure with this new one! It's tough cause the 80s can mean so many different cool things.. you have an idea in mind for an 80s finish?

Anything involving a Delorean, flaming tire tracks, and/or time travel would be bitchin'!

Anything from the JAMS pattern library would be bangin for an 80's finish.

(Pedal looks awesome btw!)

I will send you candy and pizza for the rest of your life. I also make a mean Hershey's Kiss cookie.
Also, I need your address again...
