I'm moving in about two months and the city I want to move to (where my new job is) doesn't have nearly the same kind of real estate on the market. It's all tiny studios and 1 bedrooms in the crappiest building materials possible, set up for the 6 month cycle of college student renters who trash the places they live and leave. Plus paying double for a third of the square feet we have now is annoying. (1300 sq ft in our loft apartment right now.. it was built to condo specs but the company folded and it became subsidized apartments. We've been squeaking by under the income restrictions for the past year because my freelancing has been so up and down.)
