OH SHIT.
Group of the Altos said they'd do it.

And also Collections of Colonies of Bees, if they are "ready to play new stuff by then"

Altos is a side project with some of the people from Bees.
I promise I wont try to shoehorn anyone else in!

Is there still space on the bill? My band may be interested. I know I'm new here but this sounds too awesome to pass up. I'll talk to my bandmembers to see if they'd be down.
Here's my recently-fuzzed-the-fuck-out band: http://www.reverbnation.com/meandmountains
EDIT: There aren't any fuzzies on our recordings, but I've got quite a collection now and they've nearly all found their way onto my pedalboard. Jussayin.

Also: since it's not apparent, I updated the list on page 8 and added these bands as possibly playing: Collections of Colonies of Bees, Group of the Altos, Me and Mountains. Just want to make sure that they can play!
This thing is kind of out of control. But I like it!

I talked to Dan from GOTA, he said "count it" the Bees are a pretty big maybe, so I wouldn't beholding space for them if I were in charge.

I wish I still had a new record to promote AND a Recording Company backing me up for the tickets
isn't that what they are for (besides making a living for the suits off Your back) that would have even given me decent chances.
I'd really want to just take my summer holiday a bit later, book a flight and come over to the States but... Perhaps another year.
Already checked prices, flight options and shit... AA would take me in there in 12hours for about 1000$US, which is, however, still a bit too much for a crazy whim.

Aen: I'd love it if even just GOTA plays. I'm only holding spots for bands that I've talked to & that can confirm they willl be able to play. Tell him to shoot me.an email: matt.gauger AT gmail.com

Re: ILFest - Sept 2-3, 2011 in Milwaukee - ZOMG!
Going to have to consider capping it at 8 bands.. (Edit: Unless anyone's willing to play together? And that might get crowded on stage fast.)
But you guys are in, too, Dr Sherman Sticks M.D.
Thanks for deciding to make the trip all the way to Milwaukee!
Also, Northless confirmed today while I was on the bus ride home. Updating the post, details here: http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=15 ... 91#p247491
I'll be building a website with a blog, a Facebook page, twitter account, and posting the concert to last.fm, meetup, etc. Any other places I should be promoting online?
Edit: PS - I need as much concert-planning knowledge as possible from you guys. Please share any ideas you have, and anything you've learned. I'm far from an expert on this.
Also, we need to get on some copy to promote the concert and getting a poster together.. If anyone wants to volunteer to write up some stuff ( I can provide details and general info to cover) or wants to do the graphic design, that'd be awesome.
We'll also need to be planning the logistics of blanketing Milwaukee in posters and printing t-shirts or hoodies, I'm thinking. While that's all happening I'll focus on event insurance and all that..
