Finally did some work on a cheapy Fernandes strat that I picked up months back. Probably a Taiwanese one with the anorexic trem block, but it's got the sound too it. Took down some sharp fret ends and steel-wooled the frets to clean and polish them a bit. Started stringing it towards Drop C (Drop D down a step), though I still need a Low C string. Need to adjust the truss rod a bit to accomodate, but it sounds lovely already and should be awesome once I have that Low C there.

i sold my les paul standard faded to get a sg 61 reissue...probably the antique satin walnut (guitar of the week 35). so beautiful!!

yeah....i find a shop that has one left......i'll keep the secret until i buy it........in case.....
