Don't let this die! ILFest! Can someone in the Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago area take the lead on this?

I'll get in touch with the folks at the Borg Ward, and at least get some dates in the far future that we might be able to do something. Starcastic, can you put in touch with the guy in your band, as well?

What about the name? Should we go with ILFest? Or I Love Fuzz Fest. (Provided we have Tom's blessing.) Other name idea: Fuzz Fest. "Noise Fest" is already an event they do every year at Borg Ward (and probably elsewhere.) Ideas?

Edit: Dates in September cool with everyone? I really want to ensure that The Ronald Raygun can make it. :thumb:

Bands that have expressed interest:
The Otto Modest
Canyons of Static
IFIHADAHIFI
The Ronald Raygun
The Abominable Showmen
The First Teenager Ever? / Kudzuu?
Death Tram?
Almond's Band?
Tigerbass's Band?
Mathias and Snipelfritz jam? :joy:

Plus I'd love to set up a way to get Tom and Julie to come, Dwarfcraft, and any other builders that want to make it and show off their pedals "art gallery" style, since that's how the Borg Ward is set up: art gallery + concert venue in back.

Borg ward doesn't have a built in crowd so it would be important to get one or two local Milwaukee bands besides canyons of static and starcastic's band. Might want to consider a house drum kit to help maximize number of bands you can fit in one day.

I'll see what I can do. I don't know personally that many other bands here in Milwaukee, especially the fuzzy ones. (The Fatty Acids and Maritime are too poppy..)

Could we just try to provide a house backline and drum set? At least speaker cabs, if people don't want to bring so much? With this many bands, it'll save tons of setup time.

We're still open in Sept, as far as I know.
We'll also bring a pedal setup gallery fun.

When I woke up today, it was 36. In two days, the high is supposed to be 90. So, at least you guys have consistent-ish weather.

There's a bus, I think. :thumb:

Yeah, good ol' Megabus, took it to Chicago a few weeks ago. Not exactly the most comfortable way to travel. but for $15 who could argue?

EY. I'M DOWN. I think my band could do Chicago. Or Milwaukee. But if not, I'd love to be in attendance.
