I can palm mute when I use the bridge pickup, even at 9v - wasn't expecting that, judging from the clip you did. It's pretty Ram's Head-sounding when I play rhythm (the more "rawk" muff sounds), and more Triangle-sounding on leads (smoother 60s-esque, like in the clip). I think you guys did a really great job on this. Bass response is big at maximum setting, too, which is awesome.

You run it through your bass rig yet? Of course I'll give it that test in a couple hours myself.

My bass amp is not here, but I'd be willing to bet this would sound VERY GOOD on bass.

Well, I just got this in along with two other bass friendly muffs for a shootout, I would love it if the Cbread is the winner as its the smallest and the cheapest ;)

First tests are positive, need to get it with my big rig, but this seems to be a very capable fuzz for bass.

What others are involved in your shootout?? Anyone stack the Manx yet, how's that work out?

Got mine, dig it so far. Haven't stacked it yet, will have to toss a few things in with it.
Might do a clip tomorrow with my new zoom q3hd.

You know it's good when you don't sit and compare it to other muffs/fuzzes nitpicking what you like and dislike...I plugged it in and just rocked the fuck out for a few hours

A little birdie told me the $100 manx offer might be extended to any ILF forumites if they are interested

Will try and get a longer demo up tomorrow once I unglue the pvc cement from my fingers.

Hopefully cbread will do something special for the ILF'ers who still want a manx :poke: chime in and make them make us some more!

I just played it at whisper volume, and

The lead tone on this thing just sings, very smooth with plenty of sustain. Chords rang through very clearly. So far, I'm quite impressed

Tomorrow I will record some heavier tones when I can crank it.
