one of my friends (on facebook, I haven't seem him in person since we were in boy scouts together) after months of suicidal bullshit expects me to re-friend (I un-friended after suicidal bullshit was getting really annoying) him like nothing happened.

I soldered together a boost circuit on perfboard tonight, and it didn't work. :( I'm probably going to have to design & etch a PCB, since getting a perfboard layout this tiny (for a 1590A case) was hair-pulling. :grumpy:

i was covering last night's leftovers with cling film and had to open a new dispenser of said plastic wrap. managed to cut my finger on the serrated aluminum cutting edge while doing so. at least it's only a small cut, and it's on the part of the right index fingertip that's covered by the pick when i play.

I was going to buy a cheap rack reverb for the shoegazin' but apparently some dumbass would rather get into a bidding war with himself.

Well...I'm sure there are lots more out there.

Bleh, I got called at 11 by the guy who works on my two nights off saying he was sick and wanted to see if I could take over for him. I ended up driving to work slightly in-tipsy-cated to work 5.5 hours and to get bugged by my boss in the morning about how I hadn't finished my alcohol selling training online(which, along with sleeping, I had planned to do last night). At least he's working for me tonight so I get another night off and a chance to sleep. I really want to sleep, but I'm supposed to have a jam with the band at 3 and the drummer is calling me at 12:30 to let me know if it's still on. Bleh, bleh, bleh. Tired. At least I have beer and pizza and a new South Park I torrented but haven't watched yet.

Doing this bartender license training seriously makes me want to get wasted, smash my computer and a number of other things and then murder whoever made it.

When I was reading another thread about somebody putting together a band/talking about how to get one started, I realized that the last time I was in a real band, with gigs, a rehearsal space and everything..was six years ago!.. SIX...YEARS...AGO!
