Re: THE FIRST TEENAGER EVER
thanks for all the positive feedback guys. low down on what we're using
me: mij 90s jaguar, ibanez les paul copy, into a silverface twin.
cory(guy who can actually play guitar): j mascis jazzy into a super reverb reissue
josh(bass): p-bass into a 200s into a 2x12 fender bandmaster cab that i think sounds surprisingly good, if a little quiet
blake(drums): he's playing drums. they're drums.
not really a whole lot going on effects wise. i'm using a el cap and cory uses a big box memory man. we all use big muffs because we're dorks, cory uses a soda meiser on some leads, i use a fuzz factory for noise sometimes.
we recorded with three room mics, and did the vocals through my shitty old kustom pa. the mics were some weird thing blake picked up in his years of mic collecting.
hopefully we should have something a slightly more polished soon. my basement studio is coming together and now all we have to do is nail down dates to record an actual ep/album/spoken word tour of the holy land.

I'm assuming that's your band's record on House Pride records? (I don't know if that's the correct name, I'm doing this off memory.
If so, i'll be purchasing it.

Cool songs, and I dig the lofi sound. Props for the Only In Dreams bass part at the end of * and super nintendo chalmers too.
