I acquired this today.

I was a big BIG Explosions in the Sky fan about 3 or 4 years ago, I was massively into Post Rock of all forms. Like you said, I didn't expect to like this as much as I liked the other albums this band have released, especially since I've kinda burnt-out on Post Rock because I listened to so much of it 3 or 4 years ago. But I really really like the new album, it's fresh, yet still audibly Explosions-esque enough to remain faithful. It's great, dig it a lot.

It took me a bit to get used to it, but this album's definitely starting to grow on me.
