back in the day, someone sold me this pedal, (allegedly) stolen from a music store, for $75.
it wasn't that great.

That's how I feel about it myself.

I realize that it all started as a way to validate those young guys as real “blues men”

Of course we all know that if it's old it sounds better so if we make it look old...

Then we have the veiner syndrome, where if the Les Paul sounds so good because it has a chunk of maple on top of mahogany, then if one were to put a paper thin sheet of maple (or worse photo print of maple) in our guitar it will sound fantastic.

Oh well the world runs on appearance rather than substance.

Good point, MM. However- I bet the reissue SansAmp still sounds amazing. Those guys do it RIGHT.
