Paint something in the big empty space on the body. Trash it around making hellish noise.

I wish I was creative enough and a good enough artist to figure out something to paint on it
But I want to just make this into a hellish noisemachine
Any suggestions for what to paint on the body?

Bari it or split the diff. I've got a cheap Fernandes that I need to get around do doing up CGCFAD (drop D down a full step).

I might, but I'm already going to be building a Mahogany-bodied baritone this summer. I don't know if I'm going to buy another neck, especially since these are apparently not compatible with fender tele necks.

If it was me, I'd do a mandala; something like these:
http://meditationsinatrament.com/2010/1 ... ther-name/ I'd love to burn something like that into my guitar, but like you, I am no artist. Could spray paint a stencils kind of thing though.
Or you could just go wild and throw paint at it from a long ways away.

And ILF and Fuzzhugger stickers as well! Maybe I'll just get a baritone neck and modify it myself to fit the body, then I don't have to worry about building another guitar. Those Heavy Air Behemoths look great too!

I suppose, better to learn on this guitar.
Then when the strat is done, using some swamp ash and mahogany, I will begin to make a baritone Blackmachine inspired super strat:
