i like rap. sometimes even admittedly bad rap. (lil b.)

you know, i always hear a lot about mf doom. i tried some of his stuff and although he's a good lyricist, his delivery is totalllllllllly jacked. i pretty much hate listening to him for that reason. although das racist rapped over one of his beats and it was totally and utterly awesome.

I don't know if he counts as Hip-Hop exactly (from what I've heard, closer to D-n-B/Jungle, but with human beatboxing and some rap/singing) but Kid Beyond is definitely alrite with me :thumb:
and um...The Mix-Up by The Beastie Boys (it's all instrumental though :duck:)

I like The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash..., Afrika Bambaataa. A lot of old school stuff, when it was as much about the beat than the rapper. I definitely like hip-hop influenced music, Gorillaz . I just don't pay that much attention to lyrics when I first hear a song, so if something else doesn't catch me, it just seems lacking. Immortal Technique is probably the only rapper I've heard who I was impressed by his lyricism.

I'm really into 90s hip hop, like that smooth G-funk shit, and anything related to the Wu-Tang Clan. Public Enemy is great too. Lupe Fiasco and Atmosphere are probably the only recent rap artists I like. I'm really picky.

Seriously, this album blew my mind the first time I heard it, these guys are incredible. Jacques Cousteau could never get that low.
