Just finished:

Next up:

Sick day, so I'm trying to enjoy these in full while I have the time.
Also, being sick blows.

I don't really dig EITS very much, but I've only listened to one of their records once, so I shouldn't say much.
To keep with the post-rock theme of the day, I'm going to put this on:

i've always thought of them as an "intro to post rock" band. but they've always been kinda a soundtrack to my life whenever i need them around, and because of that, i love em

This.
I love Ben Gibbard, and when he cuts into Brand New Colony on this live set I tear up every time. Something powerful in him.

This Will Destroy You was kind of my intro band, but I don't really like them every much anymore. It just seems kind of boring to me now, although I haven't listened to their new drone-y album. But seriously, their drum parts put me to sleep. I feel like the drums in a post rock band are one of the most important factors of how I like a band.

So. Much. Bass.
I need to listen to this on a real stereo system.

That song reminds me of Irepress' first album, but not as metal-y.
I really dig this album cover.
