exactly. I just like to shout it out loud, "Beloit!"
I've been in a good mood lately, but I've been listening to a bunch of Joy Division and The Cure anyway. I've also been smoking a lot of weed lately but alas, my parents will be back home on Wednesday and I'll probably run out of pot before then.

You take 894 to its southwest corner and keep going until for like 2 hours until you're in hell.
the surrounding town kind of sucks dick, but the college is so AAMAAAZINNNNG
Living out in the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin is kind of lame. Madison and Milwaukee are awsome, though.
(Evidence: Everyone I know who went to a satelite UW school [Eau Claire, Steven's Point, Oshkosh, Parkside--that's me-- and especially Whitewater] all will tell you how much going to college there sucked. Not trying to dissuade you from going to school in Beloit. Also pretty sure that's not a UW-system school, so whatevs.)

beloit's a really small liberal arts school that is absolutely awesome. after the visit i'm totally confident in my decision and i'm anxiously awaiting the move-in date, even though it's months away. most people don't go off campus that much, and i totally wouldn't either because there is a lot going on on campus, even on the sunday that i stayed the night. i talked to a lot of students and the negatives pretty much were things like 'the sidewalk is laid out strange' and trivialities like that
