Each guitar forum is sort of a different parallel universe that feel weirdly familiar. Kind of like the worlds in Sliders
Shortscale.org is awesome but I don't have any shortscales (YET), and they're all about the MadebyMike stuff there because he posts there.
Talkbass sounds lame so I don't go there.
TGP and HC and all those others I avoid.
Guitargeek back in the day was cool, but has become a lame ghost town. Gururyan from there sometimes posts here, and he was an awesome resource for pedal knowledge in an age when most pedal information was not online. (Like, before every pedal was demoed on youtube, reviewed in triplicate by Premier guitar mag and its ilk, DIYstompboxes traced, reverse engineered, and we knew how many evolutions it was off from the 5 original pedal circuits in the 60's, or whatever. hahaha.)
