When you have Algal Bloom vs. AB-Synth, everyone wins.

I have an Algal Bloom and AB-Synth 5K, both are superb in their own unique way. Have to say I use the Algal Bloom a bit more frequently, but the oscillation of the Synth is stunning. You can get lost in that madness real quick!

The AB is crunchy. The Ab-Synth is thick.

Re: Algal Bloom versus AB Synth
AB-Synth with a Hugger is a ripping, huge, heavy piece of unearthly fuzz that can freak out even die hard metal heads. Pre-boost add to trebly edge of AB-Synth fuzz crunch, post-boost gives even more mass to the thick low end.
For lively oscillation You want to disengage the pre-boost, and kick in even more post-boost instead!
Add a delay or chorus and wah and people start looking around for that ghost synth player that suddenly joined the band.

Damn dudes. These descriptions are killing me! I reserved an AB at Prymaxe, but Bassus and Caesar are totally selling me on the ABS! This game is hard...

This makes me want an Absynth so damn hard.

Re: Algal Bloom versus AB Synth
I should do a demo of AB-Synth in oscillation mode with lots of modulation after it. Fuzzy space rock for stoners.
