LED mounting dumb question!
How do you guys mount LEDs with no LED mount? They'll just be coming off the 3pdt so no pcb to support them. I think I heard you can use epoxy? Or do you not need to worry and just bend the legs into place and hope they stay there?

well I guess if you had a drill bit exactly 5mm you could stick it out the hole and pour epoxy over the backside. manufacturers that do it with no other hardware will sometimes mount the LED tight to the PCB and mount the PCB so the LED lines up with the hole. in that case the hole is more like 4mm for a 5mm led.

If you put the LED right next to the switch, you don't need anything. If not, you can glue it. I've used super glue gel in the past, and it works -great-, but if you have to remove the LED, you'll have to drill it out. (Which isn't very hard, but I've messed up someone pedal and had to make them a new box that way).
EHX uses hot glue. It looks bad, but it works and its removeable if you want.
I bet if you used a 3mm or 5mm hole, the LED would be tight enough in the hole to stay.
You can use an epoxy glue, but it's more work for something that doesn't need the strength.
If you use a solid core wire, the wires could hold the LED in place. I've actually seen stranded work too. It doesn't hold firm, but it doesn't need to.

I don't typically use bezels/mounts. I run one leg to the switch and it holds it nice and tight. If you drill as close to the led size as possible, this will also help hold it.
