Switch Problems

Post by Bellyheart »

I posted this other places but not a whole bunch of help. My guitar is only putting out neck or bridge pickups but not both. It's a three way and I thought perhaps I damaged it when placing the neck on the guitar. I had to lay it face down. Up is neck, middle is neck, and down is bridge. I checked the switch and the joints look fine. What could this be?

The Gibson types are prone to doing this, I’ve seen a lot with that problem in vintage guitars. Replace it and the problem will go away.
