Yeah, I don't know anything about Mesa Boogie amps. :idk: they make me think of terrible nu-metal bands and Creed, which is unfortunate because they're not bad amps.

As a Bass-amp I have the Bass 400+ it is mindblowing..

But I think Mesa is just a little over my budget when I look at it now..

I'd snag one of those new Mesa lunchbox ones without a second thought if I was in the market.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

Problem for me is, I would need a cab with it, we travel with a noise-orchestra of 10-15 people and most of the time there are no cabs available, so combo's are more ideal..

Unfortunately he didn't have any small tube amps left, only some roland cube modeling-stuff which I don't like.. But he would renovate his shop and will have some Vox AC-4's and some other amps in when he's re-opening.. I am most intereste in an AC-4^^

Those Valvetrain amps look awesome. Wish I could try them in person somewhere. Seems like they'd be better quality than the new Fender stuff, too..

Yeah that's the problem with those boutique amps, if I want to try one, I have to drive more than 1000 kilometers

I love mine!(mini) Whenever we get around to recording again, it'll probably be all over our new album.

I CANNOT stand the new Fender Champ (cheaper, TV-styled one). Sounds horrible.

Blues Pro Jr. is good, too, although a bit more than AC4, I think. Different sound a bit.
