Where you from? Not sure how wide their distribution is, nice to know others get to experience the Upland stuff.

I didn't think I'd like the Coriander. There's actually another Belgian ale in the stores here that I like more. It's 8% or something like that. Tastier than the Tripple.

2 jobs ago, the company stocked the fridge with all many of dark ales and smoked beers. So I got into those.

Now the guys I hang out with at the Milwaukee Makerspace are into Belgian ales (and I noticed that a lot of the popular bars/restaurants/diners serve a lot of it, as well.) so I'm drinking those.

Of course, at a show we all drink PBR tallboys. Everyone. Heh.

Edit: More reminiscing: When I was in college I drank a lot of New Glarus's special Oktoberfest bier, some sort of Hefeweizen that's strong and has the kick of live yeast in it, as it should.

I love Belgian ales, so far in my beer journey they are definitely my favorite.

But lately I've been just mixing it up with sampler packs from a brewery in MN, Brau Brothers makes some damn good brews

Yeah, huge pic. Sorry, not mine. I'm too drunk to operate a camera at the moment so you will have to deal with it.

the recommended drinking temp is 50 degrees. NEVER drink this bad boy cold unless you like your coffee blacker than Mr. Popo's taint. the bitter aftertaste overrides everything the colder it is. but otherwise its pretty good. personally i think its overrated.

and once again, my favorite pink elephant,

picked up a four pack of each at Jungle Jim's in cincinatti. that place is beer heaven. I ALMOST got a bottle of Rochefort trappiste, but i was only allowed to get two things.

my parents are enablers to my beer snobbery.

They had this at the Milwaukee Makerspace tonight:

But I had to run and do groceries so I didn't get to try one. Apparently it is very bitter.

Drinking a six of Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy right now. It ain't beer snob material, but damn is it tasty after sweating your ass off all day.
