i really dig it. changed the lead pickup to a tele, cut a new single layer black pick guard, cut the headstock into a tele shape. i'm going to get another and do a long scale (so to say) jaguar type thingie. damn..it's so easy/cheap to get a good guitar nowadays.

I think you sold me on getting one. Now I just need to decide on a color..

Sorry for the link out of ILF-land, buuuuuut I spent the afternoon today experimenting with sound visualization in Processing, an open-source programming language, and this happened:
It's an old funky groover from Deodato called "Jivin'" but it has the sample rate reduced to about an 8th of full fidelity. Basically turns it into really scary drone music! The two moving bars show the amplitude of the different parts of the frequency spectrum for each channel. Super fun!
Meet our bass player for this practice. His name is MacBook. He makes obnoxiously loud metronome noises too. My drummer is too cool(poor) for a crash cymbal at the moment, so yeah...
Brought to you in 8mm hipster vision. Enjoy.

It's a sort of psychedelic sludgy jazz-impro, recorded live - we've found it feels at the moment the most natural approach to this project. I hope we can get the recording rig to the FOH mixer at the Bass Frenzy spring gig (with other bass-guitars-only bands Cause FOr Effect and Cantata Sangui which Your struly actually founded in -96). It'd be neat to capture a bit of the audience, too.
Yeah, and: like many of my projects for long now, this one, too, is very bass oriented. As You may have guessed by now. Two bass guitars and drums, though in this particular song I don't even touch the bass for the RotYrBrain & manually messing with the pedals
:::: Metal up Yöur Jazz! with FUZZIFERblack psychedelic doom ::::
