Wow.
You guys really like thin picks.

I have a hard time using anything under 1mm.
Pussies.

Orange tortex for electric, yellow ones for acoustic. I like the ultex .60's too because they're clear and I think that's cool and futuristic. Dunlop picks are the first ones I found that never broke. As for strings I'm not picky but I like 10s on electric, usually slinkys , and 13s on acoustic.

did you know you can sharpen picks on carpet just by swipping the two edges buried in the carpet. just a like sharpening a knife, if you can imagine that you want to make the knife dull on two sides so it come to a pointy triangle.

like that, but without the hole.

i like thick picks, and i used to have a bone pick that was the perfect shape, and since bone was porous, holes + sweat = moar grips, but it wore down really fast. and i lost it... so I checked out a horn pick. its a bit less squat (i have a really tight picking style and i like to hold a lot of the pick) so it took some getting used to, but it doesn't wear down nearly as much, and has no string noise on contact, which was something i didn't like about the bone pick, but it still feels warmer too
