So I have this nice little Envelope Filter I bought off of TB about three weeks ago. I've watched videos and heard rumors of this thing being amazing for the low price. Example [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Q7alZ-fsI[/youtube].
I've been trying it out but it seems either I'll get an extremely warblely sound that is completely unusable without a fuzz running at the same time or a wah sound that sucks all the tone out of my bass.
Does anyone have any experience with this pedal? Is it just a sensitive bitch and needs to be tweaked ever so slightly to get the right funk tone? Listen to that video. How the fuck do I get mine to sound like that? ANYONE?
