Re: lets see your DREAM BOARD!
OK Thomas: I think I have my dream board, expecially once the rotovibe arrives in the mail. Oh and I need a barber dirty Bomb, and an AB-Synth.
Also: Slightly flattered that you put my fuzz on there, I picked up a bunch of supplies at lunch today and you will definately have on of the first three.

Who do you think you are, The Edge?
Side note: I threw out all my "someday pedalboard" lists. Too depressing and distracting. I'd much rather get really good at using my current gear and slowly replace the stuff that isn't working for me.

Yah, same, I'd never want to be the Edge. I'm happy with what I have, of course I want more, but I'd rather practice and get better then obsess over gear all the time!

Classic closet pedal lust:
I would agree that everyone thinks that they are going to buy that one pedal that will give them "that" Sound, which is why there are so many good deals on used pedals, probobably why Eddie VanHalen can endorse new gear every 2 years and people just buy it. The only issue is, you can't buy new hands.

Yah, I do have a huge want list, but it's only reality that has yet to come!

This is fairly true.
That said, some of us still have boards with a few crappy pedals on it that we'd like to replace eventually.
And in the meantime, I'm spending a lot of time on technique and theory to actually get good and not need so many effects.

Re: lets see your DREAM BOARD!
I don't disagree at all, think we had a similar line of conversation on the SUYB thread last week.
Probably on Friday cause we get paid, want to buy gear and then realize our money is getting dumped into bills again.
It is nice to use the tools you already have to make good music, and to be able to allow them to evolve with your playing style.
For example: I didn't have any use for the nice short echos on my DL10, and then I finally learned some rockabilly licks!

Re: lets see your DREAM BOARD!
stuff i already have bolded:
fh(fx) Phantom Ring->Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge->Subdecay Prometheus OR Copilot Gyroscope OR Copilot Dubscope->Mellowtone Hi Five->70s MXR Distortion+->MK II Tone Bender->fh(fx) Algal Bloom->fh(fx) 3 knob Great Wall->Shin-ei Companion->Sho-Bud volume pedal->HAO Rust Driver OR Catalinbread WIIO->Seppuku Mind Warp->TC Electronic SCF chorus/flanger->Boss RV-3->Tremulus Lune->TC Electronic Flashback delay->Yamaha SPX90->Alesis MidiVerb II->TC Electronic 2290 delay->Fairchild 660/670 tube compressor/limiter.
OK, part of my board is a rack. so shoot me. there'd also be a tuner somewhere in there, and a MIDI controller for the rack stuff. and lots and lots of reverb, more reverb than Mammoth Cave.

Re: lets see your DREAM BOARD!
I made a big list of my dream pedalboard, but then I got sad, because I'll never have them and a pedalboard big enough. Or the money.
