Yeah, I never could tell much from any of the guitar based demos of the thing to make heads or tails on what you can do with it. What I find interesting is how much the workhorse is like it minus the octave up and chaos stuff... actually the octave down stuff I think is a little better on the WCPU from a controllable standpoint

These are the necks as they sat before I even came aboard with Darrin.



With Volutes sanded into the headstocks.



The Stack: I sanded the heals on all these,...Darrin sanded the volutes.





Clamping Volute and Heel Vaneers:



Out of clamps,...once the excess veneer material removed these will be ready for center and side stripes and the actual veneers that makeup the face and back of the head stocks.



With excess veneer material removed:



Side Stripes:



Darrin did all the gluing and clamping as well as caul manufacturing and volute sanding. I mainly sanded heels and also did some steam bending of the volute veneers which was the highlight of my week.

Thanks man. My job kicks ass. It will kick even more ass when I get my bass (notice my neck blank is in that stack; the one marked "hoy". It's just a maple neck that will receive side stripes and a Birdseye Maple fingerboard). It will kick even even more ass when I start getting a paycheck.
