I dunno I feel like making a random thread.
Do you ever get that feeling that there's nothing to do, and there is nothing to do, but there are somethings that are almost things to do, but you can't do them either?
Just being almost physically locked in a chair staring blanking into a screen, or at the wall. It usually happens to me when I'm waiting for something. At the moment there's a lot of stuff I'm waiting on, and nothing to do right now.
I have absolutely no idea why I'm posting this thread. Just making conversation. Maybe I should join a bunch of random forums and make threads, that way when waiting for relies, the time would be very short, and I would have something to look forward to. Unfortunately most forums that are active as also pretty bad.

I myself often start random threads. Some times just to see if I can get a reply.
And at others pretty much to see how my thoughts look.
I'm not a patient waiter. Don't like to wait for people, in lines or for service.
It makes me cranky.
Well some days a lot of things make me cranky, some of which would make me happy on a different day.
Had to take a break and watch 'High Gear'.
Love that show, guys (and occasional women) driving the crap out of cars without 10,000 lbs of safety gear. This never makes me cranky.

I grew up in a small town, so I felt like that most of my school years.
No wonder I became such a stoner.
Now that I live in a city, I don't think I could ever go back to being a townie.
I'm still a stoner though.

Definitely - my day job alternates between furious activity to meet deadlines and waiting waiting waiting for client feedback. There's rarely any in-between. Unfortunately, sometimes the waiting gets to me to the point that when the furious activity is supposed to kick in, I have a tough time staying focused.
I wonder occasionally what it would be like to have a regular job with a normal pace and schedule. But I suspect that I have been ruined for such things from my years working at non-profits and my current weirdo setup.
The plus side is that I get to check the forum and post more than I would if I had a normal life! That's gotta count for something!
Oh, and I get to cruise the interwebz and look for new pedals to lust after... heh... that one's good for my fantasy rockstar life, not so good for my wallet.

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.
