I crank my mids.

My amp doesn't have a mids EQ knob so I just dial back treble and bass to between 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Sounds nice.

im a flexible man but i am turned off by the thought of it even if i know its prob wired up i still feel like i need to turn it to know or think im missing out or how do i even now how much they wired in

No mid knob on my amp...

Ch. A: Gain (Pull Bright), Treble, Bass and Volume plus shared master EQ.
Ch. B: Gain, Volume (Pull Gain) plus shared master EQ.
Master EQ section: Air (post EQ Treble) and Body (post EQ Bass)
Tube Reverb (Accutronics tank)
Tremolo (speed and depth)

Lots of good stuff but no mid... and it sound good.

I never scoop the mids on my fuzz or distortion box... I like them full of mids.
