I'm fairly obsessed with the Doepfer stuff, in theory. I've done a bit of research on them and they seem to offer a huge list of modules etc. They also have a bit more of an industrial tone then some of the other offerings.
I'm guessing you know that euro / frac / motm are all different sizes and specifications. You can always have multiple formats in two or three racks. Mixing and matching should be fairly easy. What other questions you gots? Maybe I can help?
