Oh I'm well aware of those guys. I have a buddy who got one a few months back. Sounds soooooo good! :drool: I definitely second this notion!

I have that AC30 CC1 1x12 that everyone avoids + ext cab with 2x12 Alnico silvers from '64 - I think it sounds just fine

+1 on the Chinese cc1 1x12... Mine is fitted with some special speaker made by celestion... I wasn't too thrilled playing it at bedroom level but when I took it to work and cranked it on stage it sounded gorgeous and totally worth the cost of admission

I did fail to mention that it was retubed with JJ's and had every single modification done to it to make it sound that way... But again, WORTH IT

Of course if a vintage ac30 ever presents itself I'm site I'll be falling in love with it

Yeah, few mods gives few points up, also retubing - Ive got Tung Sols in preamp & JJ in power section; I love nedog on lower volumes, but cranked only with extension cab :thumb:
