Want soo badly. Would love the 2x10 + 1x15 combo...or just to 1x15. I was on the offset board asking if anyone makes the 15 combos anymore...at a decent price. It'd be nice.

Had a Trace Elliot setup like that, and just didn't like it as much as one Aguilar GS 1x12" cabinet with a GK 700rb. If I was playing straight rock again, I'd consider going back to that setup.

Yeah, I know. So many variables in what makes a really solid sounding cabinet; speaker size is one factor.

My main big rig right now is a Phil Jones Bass Suitcase and extension cabinet, which yields 8x6". Sounds like it would be horrible, but the amp has plenty of low end for me.

I love 15s! My affinity for tens is slowly dying, loving twelves, but fifteens have my heart.

Do want Orange 1x15 for smaller gigs.

:picard: @ my error. But, anyway.

I really love the 4X15 setup I've been using for a while. Though, I recently got a 1X12 which is quite nice. I find I just end up using all of them together though. When it's real loud, subtleties between speaker type tend to get a bit lost.

I like the 15"s best WITH 18" to really push the low end plus a set of 10"s. But if I have to choose over the big ones or the small tight ones... I'd go for tight 10"s. Preferably eight of them. Seriously, I'm one trebly son of a bitch for a bass player. :idk:

I'm pretty sure you aren't the only one, or the Ampeg fridge would've never caught on like it did.

I just put together a 2/15 guitar cab to go along with 2 4/12's and it sounds amazing. The 15's give the set up so much more low end.

Are you looking for guitar or bass?

I used these in my guitar cab: http://www.eminence.com/speakers/speaker-detail/?model=Legend_1518
They cost half as much as most of the other 15's I saw and in my opinion they sound :!!!:.

I ordered from here: http://www.jr.com/eminence/pe/EM1_LEGEND1518/
They were $20 cheaper than everywhere else and they shipped fast. I got 'em in a week or so. Two 15's shipped for $127!!!

Ideally, One Cab To Rule Them All.

Dude all I can say to this is if you can get your hands on a celestion green label http://professional.celestion.com/bass/green/index.asp DO These both kill and kick ass with great muchness! I put one in a old sunn cab I have and it is the best best of both worlds out side of a old JBL D140s I have ever come across. I will admit it took a lot of doing to get my hands on one though :grumpy:
