Post by Gearmond »

I'm not sure if we have one of these on ILF, but i figure it'd be pretty neat.

anyways, self explanitory. show us stuff you don't know what it is, and we all help eachother out.

Well it looks like a telebass but as far I can see those have other pickups, it could be modded :idk:

Modded Tele bass, I'm pretty sure that is the Double Nickels bass.

You just need a copy of Bass Player Magazine (September/October 1995) Mike Watt on cover, I remember it talked about in there...

There's actually a forum for Mike Watt on Talkbass.

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f55/minut ... ass-61987/

About the bass,
the neck was a '68 but it was the only thing origianl (plus the tuners)! the body was a heavy ash schecter.

Still have no idea what the bridge is, but this might help.

That would be a Shere Sound Whirligig, tremolo, true-pitch vibrato and phaser all in one box, built in the UK, the guy builds about 2 or 3 every year.
